112 Graduate To Year 1

Jividha and Jayvunn want to be doctors

Six-year-old Jividha Chand and Jayvunn Kumar, 5, both want to be doctors when they grow up.

They were among 112 students who graduated from the Twinkle Stars Pre-School that was held at the Suva Civic Centre last Saturday.

Jividha will attend Mahatma Ghandi Primary School next year while Jayvunn will attend Nehru Primary School.

They each received the Perfect Attendance Award which were the only special awards for the school.

Jividha said: “I will work very hard next year and I will be a very good doctor so that I can look after my parents.

Pre-school teacher Premina Jivaratnam said she was happy that the school was able to achieve so much through this year.

“We have worked so hard this year and I thank the parents for their support in bringing their children to school and in helping the teachers.

“We will miss these children as we have grown to know them and bond with them and therefore we wish them all the best in their future,” she said.
