2015 Pacific Cup winners Nadi celebrate after beating defending champions NZFFI 2-0 in the finals at Bill McKinlay Park, Auckland, New Zealand yesterday.

Ratsun Nadi regained the Pacific Cup after defeating defending champions New Zealand Fiji Football Incorporation 2-0 in the final at Bill McKinlay Park, Auckland.
This will be the third time the Jetsetters have won the Pacific Cup in New Zealand after the 2012 and 2013 wins.
Nadi had a slow start to the competition drawing their first two games against Manukau 0-0 and NZFFI 1-1 respectively.
However the side booked their place in the playoffs after thumping Wellington 6-1, as they went on to beat Lautoka 2-0 in the semis.
Nadi Football Association vice-president Pranesh Amarsee was proud of the victory.
“This is a huge win for the boys because they have worked so hard in preparing for this tournament,” Amarsee said.
“We are definitely happy and overjoyed with the win, they have come a long way and before they departed Fiji, people were not sure whether they would win or not.
“I think this has reassured our fans and the people of Fiji what Nadi is capable of, training and hardwork paired with dedication and that drive to win is what got us to where we are today.”
With the 2016 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Champions League in April, Amarsee said the win would boost their preparation.
“This has really boosted our preparation for the Champions League which is our long term goal for Nadi,” he said.
“The Pacific Cup is a good build up, and I am sure the boys will be taking back a lot from this tournament. All I can say is that is the perfect way to kick start our preparation for the Champions League.”
Nadi is in Group C with AS Magenta (NCL), AS Tefana (TAH) with the third team yet to be confirmed after the OFC Champions League Preliminary winner is decided between Utulei Youth FC (ASA), Kiwi FC (SAM), Veitonga FC (TGA) and Tupapa Maraerenga (COK).
Amarsee thanked their sponsors Shop N Save and Babu Ratandeo .
