It was a proud moment for 19-year-old Saraswati College student Naina Baleca when she received the sportswoman award during their annual prizegiving event in Nausori yesterday.
“Winning the award is a big achievement for me,”Baleca said.
Apart from rugby, the Year 13 student loves playing netball.
“I was really inspired by my friends to take part in sporting events because they think I am good.
“My parents are really supportive towards my rugby and I hope to become one of the best sports personalities in Fiji,” she said.
