Timoci Korovulavula hopes to better his sporting career to be the next rugby star in future.

The thirteen-year-old is a member of the Suva kaji rugby under 13 team and is the deputy headboy of Holy Trinity Anglican School.

Timoci is originally from Mataso, Sanima in Kadavu and he is the second eldest of four siblings.

He received the most outstanding student award, advanced certificate award and Leadership award during the school’s prize giving at the school yesterday.

“I thank the Lord for his blessings and my family for their support and to my grandfather who has always stood by me throughout the year.

My grandfather is my inspiration and I salute him for always trusting in me,” he said.

“I would not have received the leadership awards if it wasn’t for his continuous advice and words of wisdom,” he said.

He loves to play rugby and Volleyball. The Kadavu native looks forward for  more achievements next year.
