It was a proud moment for Rishikul Sanatan College Year 11 student Eroni Vosanibola for receiving best sportsman award during the school’s prizegiving ceremony yesterday.

Year 10 student Kesala Dilevulevu received the best sportswoman year award.

Vosanibola represented his school in the 2015 Coca Cola Games in the Junior Boys category participated in the 200m event where he was placed fourth.

Dilevulevu represented her school in the zonal meet 400m and finished sixth and was placed fifth in the long jump.

They were both happy and thanked the Almighty God for giving them the strength.

Vosanibola said he loved taking part in sports.

“Taking part in sporting event is my hobby.

“My parents are really supportive and proud whenever, I take part in of the sports competition,” he said.

Dilevulevu was proud of her achievement.

“I am feeling very proud and happy after receiving this award,” she said.

They both hope to become one of the best athletes in Fiji.
