Samuela, Ligitoni acknowledge God’s blessings

Samuela Rusa and Ligitoni Sauvonia both have a brighter future to look forward to.

The two boys were part of the 58 students who graduated from the Suva Seventh-day Adventist Primary School during the school’s prizegiving at the Suva Civic Centre on Tuesday.

The school’s prizegiving did not award any special prizes for they believe that all students are special in their own ways.

Samuela, 13, who is originally from Kalokolevu Village in Veisari, wants to be a policeman.

“My achievements are all through my hard work and my trust in the Lord; this year is also my last year in the school and I thank the teachers for their great help in making me reach this far,” Samuela said.

Ligitoni, also 13, of Vunaniu Village in Serua is the eldest of four siblings.

He thanked his parents for their support he also acknowledged God for His blessings throughout the year.

“I will work extra hard next year as it will be my first year at high school and I will be learning more new stuff so I have to maintain the right attitude in order to get good results,” Ligitoni said.
