The Telecom Fijiana 7s Team departed for Dubai with a positive mindset yesterday.

Assistant coach Iliesa Tanivula said the players had a short time to prepare after their spectacular performance during the Oceania 7s Olympic Qualifier in Auckland early this month.

“The training has been intense and we are very much excited and looking forward to the challenge.”

He said the girls were well prepared and hoping to create history in Dubai.

“The girls have been reminded to do their best as all eyes will be on us after we qualified for the Olympics,” Tanivula said.

“We are leaving with a positive mindset of winning and delivering a good game.

“We thank everyone for their support so far and those that continue to support us,” Tanivula said.
