Marist Brothers High School’s Year 12 Best Arts student, Elisio Nacolatabua believes that his achievement will pave the way towards achieving his dream of being a cadet officer in the Republic of Fiji Military Forces.

Sixteen-year-old Elisio said his award was achieved through discipline and hardwork. This, he said were two of the very basic values one needed to be in the military.

The Dakuinuku, Sawakasa, Tailevu lad dedicated his achievement to his grandmother, Alivia Tadunamarama who died earlier this year.

“She was always very supportive towards me in achieving my dreams and completing my education. I wished she was here to see me today,” he said.

Elisio was also awarded for scoring the highest aggregate in History, Geography and iTaukei (vernacular) studies.
