Ratu Kadavulevu School can defend the Coke Zero Deans Under-18 title next year, says Pio Meya.

But the team needs to be disciplined and work hard.

Meya, the RKS U18 captain, made the comment after he was given the best all-round award during the school’s prizegiving ceremony in Tailevu on Wednesday.

The Nabukelevu, Kadavu native was given the award because of his discipline, attitude, personal conduct, leadership, service, sports and arts.

He led the team that won the Cokes Zero Deans title last year against Marist Brothers High School.

“It has been a privilege to represent RKS and it was through teamwork that we were able to defeat MBHS,”Meya said.

“I have always told the boys that the only way to win is train hard, discipline and work together as a team and God will do the rest.”

The 18-year old said he was honored to be given the award and would always come back to assist the school rugby team if the need arises.
