The strong support from his family was the reason behind Viliame Nadruku being awarded the best overall student of Fulton College yesterday.

Viliame Nadruku was among three Fijian students who graduated with a Bachelor of Theology at the Fulton College yesterday.

The 24-year-old said he would cherish the  experience for the rest of his life

He said it was his trust in God and his family that got him  the prize.

“I would like to thank God for his guidance and knowledge and I  dedicate my achievements to him,” Nadruku said.

The Nuku, Rewa, lad thanked his parents for supporting him throughout his tertiary education.

“My parents were always there for me and I thank them for that. They were with me through hard times and helped me overcome many challenges that I had gone through in life,” he said.

“It is only because of God that my son made it this far. I count myself as one of the proud mothers in Fiji today,”Losana Ratumaiyale  said.

“My son was always hard working and I would say that his hard work for the past three years has finally paid off.”
