The 4R Electrical FC team and Namaka FC qualified for the Rooster National Club Championship play-off at Govind Park, Ba, this weekend.

This was after the two teams played well in the opening day of the Western Zone pool matches at Prince Charles Park yesterday.

4R Electrical FC won 3-0 against FC Ghandi Lionz and drew 0-0 with Nailaga FC while Namaka FC defeated Press Soccer Club 2-1. and FC City United 1-0. The third team to qualify is yet to be decided.

Western Zone organiser Jitendra Kumar said competition this year was tough,

He said fans should expect strong teams from the West.

“Last year Namaka FC reached the final and lost but this year we should have strong teams.”

The match will continues today at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori. There will only be eight teams that will qualify for next week’s game.
