It was a good start for Suva Cricket Association in their season opening last Saturday.
Despite the late start, SCA vice-president Eric Browne said it was good to kick start the season before Christmas.
“Finally we getting the competition started,” he said.
“We were supposed to start the competition in October but we couldn’t since there was no ground available.
“Now we are lucky to have grounds available for our competition and the competition continues after Christmas.”
The executives were impressed with the turnout yesterday.
“We want to thank the teams for turning up and playing good matches.”
