Luke Nakulanikoro, who served 15 years as a golf attendant with the Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort, was recognised last Saturday.

He was one of the 26 resort staff who received certificates of appreciation and other awards from the Acting Prime Minister and the Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum during the resort’s 15- year anniversary celebration.

The 55-year-old, who loves his job, said,“I am honoured to be part of the Outrigger family and I’m thankful to the management for recognising the employees.

He is married with four children and 12 grandchildren.

His two daughters are also part of the Outrigger Resort Team.

“I love my job because it actually keeps me fit and healthy,” Mr Nakulanikoro said.

“Being recognised for the job we do is something that every employee looks forward to.

“This gives them comfort and happiness that their hard work and dedication is appreciated,” he said.
