Westpac To Spread Joy This Christmas

Westpac‘s Giving Tree will once again bring joy to people in need across Fiji.
Staff members and customers are rallying together to provide Christmas presents for disadvantaged children and senior citizens.
The Westpac Giving Tree is now a well-known Christmas tradition across Fiji. Westpac launched the initiative in Suva in 2011, and it now runs right across the bank’s 21 branches. Christmas trees in each branch are tagged with preferred gifts for people in need within that community.
Westpac is encouraging its customers to choose a tag, purchase a present and then place it unwrapped (with the tag) under the tree by Friday 11th of December. Westpac is also calling for customers to take part of the delivery of presents, which is also organised by the branch staff.
“Of course, everyone deserves to be happy during the festive season, and this is our way of bringing smiles to people who will not otherwise receive gifts at Christmas,” said Westpac Fiji general manager, Adrian Hughes.
“Westpac staff are so passionate and committed to this initiative, and put in a great deal of effort into making it a memorable occasion for the very special young and old people across Fiji who receive Giving Tree gifts.”
The Westpac team and customer volunteers will deliver the gifts personally, hosting a party and singing Christmas carols.
