The Institute of Internal Auditors Fiji’s two-day annual conference gets underway at the InterContinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa today.
Taking the theme of “Guiding the Way”, as this year’s conference theme depicts how businesses are increasingly looking towards internal auditors to broaden and deepen their role.
This is in helping them navigate the rapidly changing risk landscape across range of risks, including data privacy and security, regulation and government politics.
This conference will provide the stage for the profession to tackle internal audit challenges bringing together thought leaders from Fiji, Australia, New Zealand and USA.
The programme will be opened by the Member of Parliament and Member of the Public Accounts Committee – Balmindar Singh.
This year’s conference will features delegates from Government, statutory bodies and from the private sector.
There are also delegates from Solomon’s Islands and Vanuatu at the conference.
