Bank South Pacific talks to Cikobia villagers

Youths of Cikobia villages had a chance to have a financial literacy training session during the Government and media maritime tour of the North last week.
BSP Labasa manager Eka Seduadua said the enabled them to talk to youths and women group about the type of account suitable for them which was the Easygo account.
“Their main source of income was mostly through selling coconut crabs and sea cucumber/beachdemer,” Mrs Seduadua said.
She said they were advised of the requirements needed to open a personal account account and were advised to visit BSP on their next visit to Labasa Town.
Nalele village headman Apolosi Sela said the visit by Government officials had benefited the four villages.
“The visit has answered the queries to many questions as well as the visit from BSP manager Eka Seduadua,” Mr Sela said.
The same sentiment were shared by islander Jitoko Vulava who said the visit by Assistant Minister Joeli Cawaki have really answered the queries for the villagers.
