He seemed to have the right credentials to be entrusted with a proposed land development. Once he got  the lease documents, he was away, formed his own company and obtained a loan.

It appears his devious scheme has met justice. The  project has reportedly gone bellyup and he is avoiding contact with those he has hurt.

Graham Davis has definitely not turned his back on Fiji. He is just away taking a break and spending quality time with those dear to him after years of non-stop pressure-filled work.

Suva-born Mr Davis is the most famous journalist Fiji has produced. His consistently high-level investigative and explanatory journalism won international awards, and Australia’s most prized, the Walkley.

In recent times Mr Davis has been working as a consultant helping Government messaging in the building of a better Fiji.

Helping build a better Fiji is something he believes in passionately. Messaging about this is something he excels at. Turning his back on Fiji is something he would never do.

Away for a break? Yes. Gone? Definitely not.
