The Women’s Fellowship under the Navoci Methodist Church Circuit in Nadi took a tour of the capital city as part of their annual Christmas break-up party.

The Navoci Women’s Fellowship Circuit consists of women from the three villages of Navoci, Namotomoto and Nabute.  Forty-three women were part of the trip.

Navoci Women’s Fellowship leader Savaira Radinibau said: “We came up with a lot of plans on how to go about with our annual break-up party and then the idea of a tour around Suva came which made it possible for most of us to visit Suva.”

Mrs Radinibau said: “This is the first time for us to travel as a group from our circuit and we would say that this year’s annual Christmas break-up party is one of the best as we get to leave our homes and travel down to Suva.

“We are so thankful that we could be here today and visit some well known places in Suva and we were fortunate enough to visit the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation.

“This is also a day where take a break from all our commitments in the church and in our homes,” she said.

She said they were also accompanied by a few of their grandchildren who were on school holidays and hoped the visit would help educate them as well.
