Tournament co-ordinator Cama Raimuria said the Queen Victoria Old Boys Association was impressed with the turnout.

“Sixty participants turned up and we see this year’s tournament is different from the previous years,” Raimuria said.

“We see young generation of Victorians coming to participate which shows the inter-house competition is not only lively in school but also at the Fiji Golf Club.

“It was also good to see the support from our overseas members this year.

“Rewa House’s Adriu Rinakama and Viliame Mavoa came from Sydney to be part of the competition.”

Next year will be the 25th year of the competition and QVSOB West together with QVSOB RFMF bidding to host.

“The executives will see their proposals before confirming next year’s venue,” Raimuria said.
