Steven Wants To Be A Geologist

The Cuvu College dux for 2015, Steven Lui, 18, wants to become a geologist.
He said he had laid out his plans when he was in Year 11 and was working hard towards his dream.
His main objective was to ‘walk the extra mile’ in every work he does in school.
The Year 13 student, who was also the headboy, was elated when he received his awards at the school’s prizegiving last week.
“It is both an honour and privilege to be the recipient of the college dux this year,” Steven said.
The Cuvu, Nadroga lad is aiming to join the University of South Pacific to realise his dream career.
“The year 2015 is probably one of the toughest academically; it was a year of struggle because competition was very tough.”
Steven gave God the glory for his achievements.
“I am also most grateful to my teachers for helping and guiding me in my career path,” he said.
“I would like to salute most of all my parents and relatives; those who rendered me moral support and also the student body for their support.
Steven was also awarded the Outstanding Art Student of the Year and the Best Geography Student of the Year awards.
