Fiji Airways, yesterday, announced the collection ceremony for its new Airbus A330-300 aircraft. It will now take place in Fiji. This is due to the Honourable Prime Minister’s early return from France.
The airline has also confirmed that the President Major-General (ret’d) Jioji Konousi Konrote will take delivery of the aircraft, and be the Chief Guest for its arrival ceremony in Nadi. Mr Konrote and his First Lady will be on the inaugural ferry flight on Tuesday December 29th.
The President will be welcomed home by Government officials, members of the tourism industry and airline staff.
