Marika Koroibete visited children at the Colonial War Memorial Hospital yesterday.
The Melbourne Storm winger presented Christmas gifts and was accompanied by NRL development manager Fiji John Jewiss and Australia NRL representative James Radder.
Jewiss said the visit yesterday was special.
“We presented the kids with Tee-shirts, balls and few other presents which light up the day for the kids.
“I feel emotional when I see these sick children,” Koroibete said.
The Namosi, native was part of the National Rugby League Gender Equality Project launched by the Australian Minister for International Development and the Pacific Steven Ciobo in Suva on Tuesday.
