LICI Innovates To Contact Customer

Life Insurance Corporation of India’s innovated customer service has led the company to go beyond traditional means looking for customers who have left unclaimed monies with the company.

LICI is scanning the social media to look for its long-lost customers who have unclaimed monies.

LICI general manager Fiji Operations, Vimlesh Dhar said as a result, they have found many of these customers which has been to the delight of both LICI and the customers.

Mr Dhar made these comments during LICI’s annual Christmas corporate cocktail.

LICI is an Indian public sector undertaking, a financial sector powerhouse with a customer base of over 300 million and an asset base of over FJ$550 billion.

Mr Dhar said LICI’s investment are close of $0.5 billion in Fiji and it’s almost all in the country’s infrastructure sector.

“LICIC has shown spectacular results in the past four years by showing a 100 per cent growth in its investment portfolio, asset base and policy payouts to our policyholders,” he said.

“Our renewable premium income, bonus payments and in force policies have also grown consistently.”

Mr Dhar said the tree of LICI today offers the security of Life Insurance to over 60,000 Fijians and is the market leader in both New Business Policies and New Business Premium Income.
