$4K Boost For Roll Ball Team
The Fiji Roll Ball team received sporting equipments worth $4000 from Sports World in Suva on Thursday
The team will make their debut at the 3rd Roll Ball World Cup in Pune, India next week.
Fiji Roll Ball president Raizal Haniff acknowledges Sports World for their support.
“We are grateful to Sports World for assisting with our sports kit for the tour,” Haniff said.
“This will definitely boost us to do better in India.
“Our aim is to develop this sport in the country and make it big.”
Representing Sports World was Courts director of marketing Anil Senewiratne who wished the team well.
“This is the first time for Fiji to be represented in the Roll Ball World Cup and we are proud to be associated with the team.
“We wish the team the best of luck for the tournament,” Senewiratne said.
The team departs for India tomorrow.
