Dakuitoga Ready To Deliver

Fiji Pearls defender Sera Dakuitoga is optimistic of delivering her best at the Mission Foods Nations Cup in Singapore next week.
The Cakaudrove native who departed for Singapore yesterday said she could not miss out on a once-in-a lifetime opportunity.
“I’ve always wanted to learn more about netball not only in Fiji but in other parts of the world. Dakuitoga said.
“I know this opportunity would take me to greater heights.
“I just had a call last week saying that Namibia has withdrawn from the tournament and that Singapore is inviting reps from different countries to fill in for Namibia.
“I will be able to learn as much as I can from other players even though I don’t know them well but then exposure and gaining more experience is what I am going for.
“I thank God for this opportunity, my family, coach Kate Carpenter for their support.”
Her mother Adi Seru Dakuitoga was proud of her daughter.
“This is what she wanted to do and I am really happy for what she has achieved so far,” she said.
Dakuitoga will play as a defender for the Singapore Invitation.
Namibia withdrew from the Mission Foods Nations Cup because of funding issues.
