Fiji Delegation To Morocco

A two member delegation will today depart for Rabat, Morocco at the Invitation of the Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and the Crans Montana Forum to attend the World Integration of Pacific States Forum being held from 13-16th December 2015.
The purpose of the forum is to engage in strategic and high level discussions on the key challenges and opportunities facing Pacific States as well as exploring areas and opportunities to engage in areas of mutual interest. The Conference will gather Head of States and Governments as well as senior officials from various sectors such as foreign affairs, international trade, public health, tourism, transport, mining, banking & finance, fishing and agriculture. The programme for the meet will also see two high level side-events discussing Public Health and the boosting of the Fishing and the Food Industry in the Pacific.
The Fiji Delegation will be led by Mr. Nidhendra Singh who is the current resident Counsellor at Fiji’s Foreign Mission in Brussels. Fiji’s mission in Brussels is accredited to the Kingdom of Morocco. Counsellor Singh will also utilize the opportunity to visit Fijian students who are currently studying in Morocco. The head of delegation will be accompanied by Chief Administrative Officer to the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mr. Navneel Sharma.
