Five Fijians Graduate In Samoa

Five Fijians were among the 138 graduates at the University of the South Pacific Alafua Campus in Samoa yesterday.
Romuluse Nakiole, Sikeli Naucunivanua, Akanisi Ranadinivugalei, Adi Alanieta Ratuvakalevulevu and Uraia Mokuiveikau, graduated with a Bachelor in Agriculture (Applied Science).
Twenty-nine-year-old Romuluse Nakiole, from Naioti, Yale in Kadavu acknowledged his family and relatives for their support during his four years of studying in Samoa.
“It was not an easy journey for me and my family trying to achieve my Degree but I must thank the Almighty God for being there for me.
“Also all my relatives in Fiji for always supporting me through hard times and the Fijian community in Apia,” Nakiole said.
Akanisi Ranadinivugalei, from Vanuavatu in Lau, said she aimed to pursue further studies and attributed her achievement to her families and friends in Fiji.
“I want to thank everyone who has been supporting me all this time and my aim is to go back to Fiji and find a job and pursue further studies,” she said.
The five Fijians return home today.
