Children over 11 years old, particularly those who are afraid of getting their face in the water, or who cannot manage deep water, are encouraged to join the programme as well as good swimmers who want to improve their swimming skills.

After the Biggest Swimming Lesson, there will be a demonstration of shallow water exercise that is good for diabetes, for fitness, and for sport recovery.

The subjects that will be covered:

l               How to make a plan around the water for you, your friends, and your family to be safe;.

l               Things you can do in the water that are fun, and can help to make you a better swimmer at the same time;

l               What to do if there is an emergency around the water.

Registration will be at 11am, and lessons will be conducted from 12pm to 2pm. A discounted pool admission of $1 will be charged but the lessons will be free.
