There was a bit of rain in the West on Saturday. Some Suva participants in the 17th Attorney-General’s Conference at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa claimed credit for it.
One lawyer said: “We brought this rain with us from Suva to cool the West.”
But it wasn’t enough to break the drought that has gripped the division.
Black tie
If you can’t find a black tie or bow tie in Suva, they must have ended up at the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa, Natadola. More than 400 participants at the 17th Attorney-General’s Conference attended the Black tie dinner on Saturday. Roughly more than 200 male participants looked smart in their black ties.
