Khanz Holdings Limited scoops Fisheries Exporter Award

Congratulations to Khanz Holdings Limited for winning the Hangton Pacific Company Limited Fisheries Exporter of the Year Award at the 2015 Westpac Prime Minister’s Exporter of the Year Awards.
Khanz Holdings managing director Zavir Khan said the Award meant that they could do their best with the little they had and they would only get better.
“There is a lot more we can do and the good thing about this is that we are a very new company and we still have a lot of room for growth,” he said.
EXPORT MARKETS
The company’s main business is exporting fish to Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Taiwan with plans to expand to Japan, New Zealand and Australia next year. At the same time it operates six retail outlets in the Suva to Nausori corridor; provides wholesale fish and fish products to local restaurants, hotels, and supermarkets. “Our company exports finished products and while we sell locally we also do deliveries directly to villages in Viti Levu.” Mr Khan said the company was able to be created do the pro-business policies of Government that encouraged the establishment of locally based companies to export to international markets.
The Hangton Pacific Company Limited Fisheries Exporter of the Year Award recognised a company that had shown overall excellence in exporting fisheries product in any form.
