Body Find Shocks Family

A family of Nasoso in Nadi is reeling in shock after their daughter’s dead body was discovered yesterday.
Moreen Nisha, a 26-year-old mother of two who had been separated from her husband, did not return home on Monday night.
Her body was found abandoned at the Carpenters Fiji group premises near Saunaka Village in Nadi.
“I still remember her last words to me as she walked out of the house saying, ‘As Salamu alaykum Abba’,” Moreen’s dad John Khan, 56, said.
“She did not return home on Monday and we thought she was doing overtime but we started contacting her early Tuesday morning.
“We could not get her on her mobile so when we tried her company phone we were told by her supervisor that she had not turned up at work that day.
“We got really worried and filed a complaint with the Namaka Police Sation at around noon the same day.”
A very emotional Mr Khan said he could not imagine her daughter going through such a gruesome death.
“Words cannot describe what has happened in my family and we are just left her memories and her kind acts which we would cherish for the rest of our lives.”
The late Ms Nisha was an employee at Jack’s of Fiji Manufacturing division based in Nadi.
She is survived by her two sons and will be buried at the Enamanu cemetery this afternoon.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirmed that the body was discovered by the security guard on duty at Carpenters Fiji group premises.
“It hasn’t been classified as a murder. It’s too early and we’re still investigating,” she said.
