Manasa Saulo will replace Salesi Ma’afu in Toulon.
The Vodafone Flying Fijians prop will replace Ma’afu who lost his lucrative contract with European champion Toulon after being convicted of assault.
Wallabies prop Salesi Ma’afu The French Top 14 champions and the 32-year-old parted ways by “mutual agreement”, Toulon club president Mourad Boudjellal announced.
Ma’afu, older brother of Flying Fijians prop Campese Ma’afu was found guilty of assault and fined €1500 (FJ$3476.44) after an altercation with a woman in a car park in Mourillon earlier this year.
Saulo is expected to start his season with Toulon after serving his 10 weeks ban for stamping at the RWC. The ban ends on January 16.
Ma’afu played 14 times for the Wallabies.
