Trailblazers Rugby Club aims to develop youths.

Club founder Joseph Rodan Junior said their main aim was to engage youths to different sports and showcase their talents.

“The focus is to get our youths to play various other sports like athletics, volleyball and rugby,” he said.

“The players who are participating in rugby are also participating in athletics; this is done to showcase their talents since we have players who are tertiary students and school dropouts.

“Getting these players to participate in sports is giving them the opportunity to showcase their various skills in different sports.

“We have a team competing in the Suva Volleyball competition and in Suva Athletics competition.

Trailblazers lost to Kaite 12-19 yesterday.

“This is just the fourth tournament these boys have been playing together and we are looking forward to compete in 7s tournaments.”
