Sugar-Free Cakes
Christmas cheers have already started for residents of the Senior Citizens Home in Samabula, Suva.
Last Friday, staff from Bakewell Cakes Wholesalers and Distributors brought joy and laughter for the residents during their Christmas party, coupled with sugar-free cakes.
The director for Bakewell, Rohit Deo, said: “This is what Christmas is all about and that is looking what for the interest of others.
“We have been distribution cake for the senior citizens and we noticed that they love cakes but because some of them are suffering from Non Communicable Diseases (NCDs), they were bit reluctant to eat them.”
Mr Deo said it was a special day for them as well because they, for the first time, introduced sugar-free cakes baked especially for the elderly and those who are suffering from NCDs. Edited by Naisa Koroi
