Commission Awaits Reports

Full reports from both parties to sum up investigation.
Boxing Commision of Fiji is awaiting full reports from Wild West boxing promotion promoter Abdul Khan and Petero Qica’s management.
The reports will assist BCF to sum up their investigation on the non-appearance of Qica to defend the Fiji heavyweight title against Napoleon Taumoepeau on December 19 at Prince Charles Park in Nadi.
BCF director Usman Ali said they would wait for both parties explanations on what transpired on the night.
“I have spoken to Petero Qica’s management team to give me a full report and also I’m also waiting for a statement from the promoter Abdul Khan; the reason why we are doing this is to ensure we get both sides of the story.
“I’m going for concrete statement so that nobody is deprived or victimised,” Ali said.
The results are expected to be known as early as next week.
“We are trying our best to collect all these reports as soon as possible by the end of this month,” Ali added.
