Vodafone Text promotion winner Suresh Chand Sharma got a double delight on Wednesday.

The 36-year-old from Tuatua, Labasa not only won a Toyota Hilux but had the keys to his new ride given by Vodafone Fijian 7s rep Emosi Mulevoro.

“This is a really proud moment for me and something I never thought would happen in my life,” Sharma said.

“My Christmas wish has definitely been answered by the Almighty and it was an early Christmas present for me.

“Not only did I win a brand new car but I got to meet one of the Fijian 7s players which was just amazing because I love rugby.

“I am a big fan of the 7s team and whenever they play overseas I always watch them whether it will be late at night or early in the morning.

“To actually meet one of them is another dream come true and I never thought I’d meet Emosi and shake hands with him.”

The Dreketi Central College teacher said he rarely takes part in the text promotions but felt it was God who pushed him to send a text.

“It is amazing how all it took is one text and I just want to thank Vodafone for this opportunity because I really did not think I would win anything,” he said.

“I rarely take part in these text promotions but I think it was God’s call for me to do that and it is just an inspiration to everyone out there that you really need to be in to win.

“This has been the best Christmas for me and my family and I really could not ask for anything more.

“I won a car and met one of the Vodafone Fijian 7s players, I’m a happy man.”
