Fr Arms: Work As A Team

Family is important, says Catholic priest Father David Arms.
It was Father Arms’ last sermon for the year at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, in Suva.
Farther Arms, 76, preached on the family and Jesus Christ.
“We need to reflect on the life of Jesus Christ within our own families.
“We must love each other in our family and work hard together as the team,” he said.
Father Arms is originally from Lower Hutt, Wellington in New Zealand has been preaching in Catholic Churches around Fiji since 1970.
He only preaches on special occasions at the Sacred Heart Cathedral.
“I enjoy preaching in Catholic churches in Fiji and we will continue to have similar church service in the future,” he said.
Meanwhile, Margaret Moore, 66, who has been attending this church since 1957 said she was inspired by Father Arms’ preaching.
“There are a lot of family breakups now days and when parents separate, their children are mostly affected,” she said.
Ms Moore said the sermon has motivated family members.
