Power was being gradually restored last night after a blackout hit the whole of Viti Levu.
While a Fiji Electricity Authority team was trying to locate the fault, another team was restoring power using the diesel generators.
Karunesh Rao, Executive Projects & Public Relations Manager, said priority was given to hospitals, water and sewerage.
