Bua Prepares To Welcome Bainimarama

The people of Bua are preparing to welcome the Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama, when he arrives at Nabouwalu next Monday to open the new Dreketi-Nabouwalu Highway.
Wainunu chief Tui Wainunu, Ratu Orisi Baleitavea, told the Fiji Sun yesterday that a district meeting (bose vanua) would be held on Thursday to finalise their plans.
He said they would welcome Mr Bainimarama at the Naulumatua House in Nabouwalu.
Ratu Orisi said they would also thank Mr Bainimarama and the FijiFirst Government for the recent major developments in the Bua district.
“This is a Government that has really delivered on the people of Bua and the developments in the province had really lifted our lifestyle,” he said.
He said past governments had failed to deliver what they promised and for this reason they would continue to support the Bainimarama-led Government.
Ratu Orisi said the people of Bua would benefit greatly from the new Dreketi-Nabouwalu Highway.
The Prime Minister will be travelling from Natovi to Nabouwalu on the Patterson Brothers ferry.
