Our Soldiers Celebrate Christmas

War, tension and terrorism may be present in places like the Golan Heights, Sinai, Baghdad and Lebanon, but the Christmas spirit still lives among our Fijian peacekeepers.

At Golan Heights, between Israel and Syria, our soldiers were joined by United Nations Disengagement Observer Force UNDOF chief of staff Colonel Ro Jone Kalouniwai.

The traditional church service at Camp Ziouani was conducted by general-secretary of the Methodist Church Reverend Epineri Vakadewavosa.

Following the formalities, the day ended with lunch and performances. Edited by Ranoba Baoa
