Former Foreign Affairs Minister  Berenado Vunibobo has died, aged 84.

Mr Vunibobo passed away yesterday at his home in Tamavua after a short illness.

The late Mr Vunibobo also served as Minister for Foreign Affairs, International Co-operation and Civil Aviation from 1997-1998 under the leadership of the then Prime Minister, Sitiveni Rabuka.

He is survived by his wife Luisa, five children, five grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
