Newly- appointed Fiji Rugby Union chief executive officer John O’Connor aims to implement changes when he takes up office next month.
O’Connor resigned from his position as chief executive officer of the National Fire Authority on Wednesday.
“Firstly I must thank the Fiji Rugby Union board for giving me the opportunity,”O’Connor said.
“I’m grateful and so humble to be given the opportunity.”
He said reforms needed to be implemented to improve the service delivery at Rugby House.
“When I start in February then I will address the issues that I believe need to be addressed.
“I’ll implement reforms and changes which I believe need to be done.”
