Flood Warning Cancelled Of Areas Downstream Of Wainibuka River

The flood warning that was in force for the low lying areas and areas adjacent to Wailotua station and areas downstream of Wainibuka river is now cancelled.  Level at Wailotua was 2.38m at 4am which is 0.12m below the alert level and decreasing.

A flood alert remains in force for low lying areas and areas adjacent to Navolau station and areas downstream of Navolau station.  Level at Navolau was 6.31m at 4am which is 0.31m above alert level and decreasing.

High tide 1:41pm 1.44m
low tide 7:14am – 0.48m

Members of the public are again strongly advised to refrain from crossing any flooded roads/walkways and to take heed of all warnings issued from authorities. Parents are strongly urged to keep watch over children.
