Nadi Hospital’s New Year Baby

While many were celebrating the New Year, 27-year-old Salaseini Drawe was a proud woman after she gave birth to her son at the Nadi Hospital early yesterday morning.
Ms Drawe gave birth to baby Inosa Vuki at around 12.45am making him the first baby born at the Nadi Hospital this year.
“I was not expecting to give birth on New Year’s day, but I am happy that I have been blessed with a baby boy on this day,” Ms Drawe said.
“Babies are gifts from God and we should always appreciate them, no matter what time they are born.”
Ms Drawe said she was impressed with the way the delivery nurses helped her.
“The nurses are very kind and I thank them for their work.”
She also dedicated her baby to her late father.
“My father passed away last November and he had always wanted me to give birth to a baby boy so that he could name it after him but then he passed away so early.
“Those back at home would be very happy to welcome my fourth baby,” Ms Drawe said.
