Family Bid Last Farewell To Drowning Victim, Kolinaitini
Family members and friends yesterday gathered in Makoi to present their ‘ireguregu’ to the family of Josua Kolinaitini, 53, who drowned during Tropical Depression 07F.
Mr Kolinaitini of Savuna, Moturiki, had drowned after the boat they were travelling in capsized during the tropical Depression.
His body was found on the shore at Savuna Village.
“Today will be the last day for our family to get together before the burial at Savuna on Saturday,” his uncle Manoa Dugulele said.
Relatives from Suva, Nadi and around Viti Levu have been coming to present their ‘reguregu’ and express their condolence to the family
Mr Kolinaitini has been serving as a Methodist Steward (vakatawa) at Savuna Village since 2013.
