Passengers checking-in at the Nadi International Airport faced some disruptions with check-ins on Tuesday evening.

This was after Telecom Fiji Limited’s communication links with SITA, the service provider for check-in of passengers, went down.

But the system was up and running yesterday morning.

Airports Fiji Limited executive chairman, Faiz Khan, said: “The TFL system in Suva with its router was down yesterday (Tuesday) thus resulting in delays in check-in.

“TFL worked all night and managed to restore its system at 9.14am. Check-in has now normalised.

“AFL is nevertheless working with TFL to build redundancies into their services. On behalf of all stakeholders we apologise to the passengers for any inconvenience caused.”
