More awareness on Philips appliances was demonstrated at the Courts Mega Samabula store yesterday.

Prestigious Chef Sawarto led the team as he showed customers how to use the latest Philips appliances in the kitchen during his live demonstration.

Courts Marketing director, Anil Senewiratne, said as per completion of the training, the live demonstration was to show customers why they should purchase and also showcase some of the lasts Philips products they have in store.

Customer Kalesi Liku said she was impressed with what she saw yesterday and plans to get herself a Philips brand appliance to make her life in the kitchen a lot easier.

Ms Liku added: “I was at home when I heard about this live demonstration so I decided to come and check it out. Watching Chef Sawarto today was really interesting.

“I didn’t even know some of these appliances exist and I think there should be more of these demonstrations because they make our lives a lot easier especially for us women in the kitchen.”

Courts Sales Representative, Litia Mate, was one of the participants at the one day training on the Philips brand products at De Vos at the Park on Tuesday.

Ms Mate said: “The training very interesting as we learnt a lot about the Philips products. Most of the products we receive, when we explain customers, we just explain the basic features.

“But after the training, we are now better informed on how deep the product is and how useful it is especially on appliances.”

She said nowadays people were more conscious about their health.

“When we witnessed Chef Sawarto during the demo, we knew it would be effective here in Fiji because of our health conscious wise and how we can control our diet and be conscious on what we are eating every day,” she said.
