Dual rugby international Lote Tuqiri was impressed with the Fijian flair in exhibition during the Uprising Secondary Schools Finals at Lawaqa Park, Sigatoka yesterday.

“I was very impressed and with this kind of expected quality of final it is very exciting.

“Lelean already getting on their weight programme and you can see the difference between them and other teams during the finals,” Tuqiri said.

Speaking on behalf of Coral Coast hotels was Outrigger Fiji Beach Resort general manager Peter Hopgood.

He said they were proud to work with the Fiji Rugby Union, the sponsors, and Nadroga Rugby Union to stage the sixth Coral Coast 7s.

“Between all of the hotels on the Coral Coast, we attract well over 200,000 visitors to our region each year. We employ over 2000 staff and we contribute over 50 million dollars every year to local economy.

“Having events such as the Coral Coast 7s will further increase this visitation.

“To the committee and the organisers, we thank you for your hard work thus far and we look forward to a successful 7s tournament in over the weekend.”

Bayleys Real Estate director Philip Toogood said they were proud to sponsor the tournament.

“Over the next few days we will all reflect on good tournament and also opens up the opportunity for new budding players to shine and step up onto the Road to Rio and 2016 Olympics Games that we are all excited about,” he said.
