PM Will Tour West Next

Next up is the Western Division. But next week Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama will visit a Wainimala school in Naitasiri to deliver school furniture.
This was confirmed by Mr Bainimarama last night.
In two weeks time, he will be making his Western tour following a successful one in the North which he wrapped up yesterday.
“The one-week tour in the North was very exciting. I will be coming again probably in the next month to check on the progress of some outstanding projects,” Mr Bainimarama said.
During the talanoa session, many people raised their concerns and clarification matters to the Prime Minister.
A question was asked on what kind of assurance he had for those who had raised them.
He answered: “We will look into the budget that we have because we can’t just pour out money into projects. We have some outstanding projects which we want to look at it first.”
He said there was also a need to drive more Government support in the education sector, especially in rural areas.
Mr Bainimarama said he has asked all Government heads of department and senior officials to go through this year’s budget thoroughly as he said: “People need to know what is available for them, but I feel many are unaware of it.”
