“Today was the first time I met the Prime Minister. I have always heard of him. I’m so happy to see him come to us and help us in getting internet for our school,” she said.

“I want to thank him for doing this to help us and our teachers in our education.”

Salanieta Kanawai, 13, a Year Seven student said she was honoured to have met Mr Bainimarama.

“I was so happy because he also asked me what I wanted to do when I grow up. My friends and I were so happy when he asked because it showed he cares for us children; so we want to thank him for everything he brought for us today,” she said. Edited by Manasa Kalouniviti
